The Inn is a 65 room historic building with a restaurant, lounge and banquet rooms. The Benbow KOA & Golf is a 110 site RV park with a 9-hole golf course.
Benbow Historic Inn is seeking a polished and professional Restaurant / Bar Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for assuring that guests have memorable experiences in our dining room and bar.
Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate all front of house activities.
· Oversee guest services and resolve issues.
· Ensure a high quality of service.
· Train and manage service personnel.
· Create and adjust staff schedules to meet restaurant and bar needs.
· Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications:
· Strong leadership qualities.
· Ability to thrive in a demanding environment.
· Excellent written and communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Knowledge of wines, spirits and beers and ability to order, receive and store the same.
· Ability to create craft alcoholic drinks for bar menu.
· Ability to carry on wine program of extensive award winning wine cellar.
· Knowledge of beverage cost of goods and ability to hit target goals.
· Oversees all beverage inventories.
· Understands fine dining service and ability to train staff to execute the same.
· Have 3-5 years of experience in similar fine dining establishments.
