We’re looking for an IT Administrator who is technical, organized, and client-focused to support both onsite and remote environments.

Role Overview
The IT Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day IT support, system administration, network troubleshooting, and project assistance for our business clients. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in both remote and onsite settings.
You will be working directly with LAIT clients to maintain their technology infrastructure, respond to support requests, and help implement new systems.

Key Responsibilities
1. Client Support & Help Desk
- Provide remote and onsite IT support to business clients
- Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365 environments
- Resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies
- Support printers, scanners, VoIP phones, and line-of-business applications
2. Systems & Network Administration
- Manage Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and email environments
- Configure firewalls, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi networks
- Monitor systems using RMM and endpoint protection tools
- Perform backups, disaster recovery checks, and system updates
- Maintain documentation of client environments
3. Projects & Installations
- Assist with workstation and server deployments
- Support low-voltage projects (cabling, cameras, access control)
- Configure security cameras, network racks, and structured cabling
- Participate in IT onboarding for new client users and offices
4. Security & Compliance
- Implement MFA, endpoint protection, and email security
- Respond to security alerts and suspicious activity
- Follow best practices for data protection and compliance

Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or system administration
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 & Windows environments
- Experience with networking (VLANs, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls)
- Familiarity with RMM tools and ticketing systems
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license for onsite visits

Bonus Skills (Not Required but a Plus)
- Experience with Ubiquiti, Palo Alto, or Cradlepoint devices
- Low-voltage cabling or security camera installation
- Azure, Intune, or cloud administration
- VoIP systems and PBX management
- Cybersecurity tools and compliance frameworks
