HIRING - Butcher Shop Customer Service / FOH

McCall’s Meat & Fish Company is looking for a FOH employee for our butcher shop / gourmet market in SANTA MONICA!

THE JOB:
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Front-of-House Team Member to join our team. This role is customer-facing, with a strong emphasis on providing exceptional service and helping our guests navigate our selection of gourmet products. Ideal candidates will have a love for food and hospitality, and an interest in learning and growing within our market.

ABOUT US:
McCall's is a small, local gourmet market specializing in fresh meats and seafood, but we also offer a wide variety of specialty products such as wine and beer, fresh pastas, imported cheeses, and locally-sourced produce from the farmers market.
Our customers come to us for the best of the best, and our team is at the heart of delivering that experience.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
-- Greet and assist customers, creating a welcoming and positive shopping experience.
-- Provide detailed product knowledge and make recommendations based on customer preferences.
-- Assist with checkout, including handling payments and keeping track of customer orders.
-- Maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing front-of-house space.
-- Ensure product displays are stocked, well-organized, and reflective of our market’s high standards.
-- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
-- Actively contribute to a collaborative and friendly work environment.
-- Must be able to work full-time, must have weekend availability!
-- CA Food handlers card required
