Job Description

JOB PURPOSE: To provide World Class Customer Service to help our ever-growing customer base.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide high level written communication via text and e-mail
2. Assist with taking inbound phone calls through our 866-466-7435 phone number
3. Actively listen and document every conversation that takes place
4. Assist with Social Media reputation management
5. Aid in the processing of external warranty claims through our additional protection plan(s)
6. Communicate with honesty and integrity
7. Perform related duties as assigned by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (The following qualifications can be acquired and demonstrated through experience, education and/or vocational training as noted or as appropriate.)

1. The willingness to learn a new career in the furniture Industry and the ability to take on a leadership role with-in our company once tenure has been established.
2. Communication skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret our company’s documents; ability to build strong relationships with your peers, management team, customers and other departments with-in our organization. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
3. Demonstrate positive, professional and constructive communication with customers, operations, sales and executive management.
4. Computer skills: Ability to work with our G.E.R.S. program and be comfortable with spreadsheets and database software applications. Must type 40 WPM
5. Problem solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develop alternative solutions; work well in group problem solving situations.
6. Safety and Security skills: Ability to observe safety and security procedures; report potentially unsafe conditions; use equipment and materials properly.
7. Punctuality and consistent attendance necessary
8. The ability to complete our MOR University program.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL CRITERIA:

The ability to work in an office environment for 8 plus hours a day, the ability to handle a high volume of texts and e-mails. The ability to comprehend information to address and respond to our customers’ concerns or questions. The ability to communicate with others and build strong working relationships while learning the daily responsibilities within the department.
