American Pizza Manufacturing is a growing, family-owned quick-service pizza concept with a flagship location in La Jolla and a clear long-term vision for expansion in California. We’re looking for a hands-on, people-first working manager to help lead daily operations and grow alongside the business.

This is a ground-floor opportunity for the right person—someone who wants more than just a shift-managing role and takes pride in building a strong team, culture, and guest experience from the inside out.

Schedule & Compensation

Part-time management role: 4–5 days per week
Consistent daytime and early evening shifts
Working manager position (you’ll be on the floor, leading shifts)
Hourly pay: $20–$25/hour, depending on experience
Opportunity for expanded responsibility and growth as the company grows

What You’ll Do

Lead and work shifts while overseeing daily restaurant operations
Hire, train, schedule, and coach a team of 10–20+
Set the standard for food quality, hospitality, and cleanliness
Own the guest experience and build real customer relationships
Support labor management, food cost awareness, and basic P&L performance
Partner directly with ownership to refine systems, processes, and standards
Assist with local marketing, promotions, and community presence
Protect and grow a positive, accountable, team-first culture

Experience & Qualities We’re Looking For

2–5 years of management experience in QSR, food service, or retail
Experience leading teams, building schedules, and managing labor
A strong coach who enjoys developing others
Customer-relationship–minded and hospitality-driven
Can-do, solutions-oriented approach
Interest in brand building, marketing, and local promotion
Humble, trustworthy, and eager to learn all aspects of the business
Fun, upbeat, and team-oriented—culture matters here
