Key Responsibilities
Assist drill operators and locators with job site setup and teardownLoad, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipmentExcavate and backfill manually with shovels and hand toolsPerform potholing/daylighting to expose underground utilitiesMix drilling fluids (mud mixing) as directedOperate small equipment (e.g., tampers, vac units, saws)Restore sites (grading, raking, seeding, sodding)Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipmentFollow all OSHA, company, and customer safety protocolsReport hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in fiber optic installationsAble to take direction from foreman and locatorComfortable working outdoors in all weatherPhysically capable of lifting 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and working in trenchesValid driver’s license and clean driving record requiredCDL Class A is a plus, not requiredMust pass a pre-employment drug screening and physicalReliable, safety-focused, and a strong team playerWillingness to travel for out-of-town projects required

Schedule
Full-Time, Monday–Friday10 to 12-hour shiftsOvertime and weekend work as needed
