Shuttle Bus Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Shuttle Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services. This role involves transporting passengers between designated locations, ensuring a high standard of customer service, and maintaining the vehicle in optimal condition. The ideal candidate will have experience in shuttle driving, commercial driving, or related fields such as bus driving. A strong focus on safety, communication skills, and customer satisfaction is essential to succeed in this position.
Duties
Operate shuttle vehicles safely and responsibly along predefined routes or schedules
Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service
Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs while adhering to traffic laws and company policies
Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness
Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents during shifts
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, passengers, and team members to coordinate schedules and address concerns
Follow all safety protocols and transportation regulations to ensure passenger safety at all times
Pass State of Georgia DMV and background checks
Skills
Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or similar roles such as limousine or school bus driving
Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type; driver certification preferred
Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members
Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for cargo handling
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify issues early and ensure vehicle safety
Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to operate various types of vehicles safely under different conditions
Good navigation skills and familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns
