Lead Line Cook — Prose Kitchen & Bar (Woodland Hills) Prose Kitchen & Bar is hiring a Lead Line Cook to help set the kitchen up for success every day. This role works closely with the Chef and prep team to organize, prep, and set the line, then helps lead clean, consistent service. This is a hands-on position for a cook who likes ownership, systems, and being relied on. What you’ll do Help set up and prep the line daily alongside Chef and prep cooks Own station readiness: mise en place, pars, backups, cleanliness Execute service with consistency, urgency, and strong seasoning Help maintain prep lists, walk-in organization, labeling, and storage Be a steady presence on the line — calm, focused, solutions-first Reinforce station standards and support the team during service What we’re looking for Solid line cook experience in chef-driven or quality-focused restaurants Strong prep skills and a good sense of organization and flow You show up ready, early, and take pride in being prepared You care about clean food, clean stations, and clean systems Leadership without ego — you raise the bar by example The kitchen Ingredient-forward, flavor-driven cooking Clear systems: prep lists, pars, labeling, station standards High expectations, sane leadership, real support Compensation $23–$25/hour + tips Tips typically average ~$180-250/wk Full-time 35-45 hours depending on the week  Perks Family meal Consistent schedule Growth opportunity in a serious but supportive kitchen How to apply Send a resume and a short note telling us: your strongest station what “being ready for service” means to you Prose Kitchen & Bar21150 Ventura Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA
