Job Description

We are a family owned canning kitchen. As we grow, we need to delegate some cooking of jam, which is all cooked and poured by hand. The job is fast paced. Recipes and procedures must be followed exactly to ensure safe, consistent products. There is a lot of multitasking: prepping food, cooking and jarring and washing dishes. There is no down time except during lunch break. You will be with at least one other person who will help pour the jars. Hours/days are flexible. Right now we only need 1 day/week, but that will likely move to 2-3 as we continue to grow.
Start: $20, then $22 after six months and $25 after one year

Requirements:
Cooking experience required.
Must be able to work independently.
Ability to work well with others and as a team.
Must work efficiently and safely.
Ability to do repetitive motion (pouring into jars/lidding)
Detail focused.
Clean and punctual.
Someone who values natural, organic foods or is willing to learn about them.
