Position Summary

The Landscape Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of landscape construction projects from start to finish. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to company quality standards. The Landscape Construction Manager coordinates crews, orders materials, manages job progress, and ensures accurate billing and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day landscape construction operations and job site activities
• Manage and supervise field crews, subcontractors, and vendors
• Order and coordinate delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain project schedules
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure proper execution
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets
• Ensure quality control and adherence to company standards and safety requirements
• Communicate with office staff, project managers, and clients regarding project status and updates
• Track labor, materials, and change orders for accurate job costing
• Verify completed work and ensure projects are billed correctly and in a timely manner
• Identify and resolve job site issues efficiently to avoid delays
• Maintain organized job documentation, including daily reports and material usage

Qualifications
• Experience in landscape construction or related construction management field
• Strong knowledge of landscape installation practices, irrigation, hardscape, and grading preferred
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Experience ordering materials and coordinating logistics
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred Skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Experience with job costing or construction management software
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Work Environment
• Combination of field and office work
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift materials and walk job sites as needed
