Commercial Door Specialist - Experience Required

Schoolhouse Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Commercial Doors Specialist to support the construction and refurbishment of modular buildings. This role requires hands on experience installing and repairing commercial grade doors and hardware.

Position Overview
The Commercial Doors Specialist installs, adjusts, and repairs commercial doors, frames, and hardware on modular units. This includes diagnosing issues, modifying doors and frames for proper fit, and ensuring all work meets safety, ADA, and fire rating requirements.

Responsibilities
• Install commercial doors, frames, and hardware
• Diagnose and repair hinges, closers, panic hardware, locks, thresholds, and related components
• Modify and adjust doors and frames for proper alignment and operation
• Read and interpret drawings, door schedules, and hardware specifications
• Maintain tools, materials, and a clean work area
• Support production timelines and quality standards

Requirements
• Minimum 1–2 years of commercial door installation or repair experience
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of ADA and fire rated door requirements is a plus
• Experience in construction or modular buildings is helpful

Physical Requirements
