Warehouse Cherry Picker Operator

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cherry Picker to join our warehouse team in our Canoga Park location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently picking and moving products within the warehouse using cherry picker equipment. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Must be willing to work Mon-Fri 1:30pm-10:00pm

Duties
Operate cherry picker equipment to retrieve and transport items from high shelving units.
Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accuracy in inventory management.
Load and unload products from pallets and trucks, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any mechanical issues.
Assist in inventory control processes, including counting stock and reporting discrepancies.
Utilize pallet jacks and clamp trucks as needed for efficient material handling.
Adhere to all safety protocols while performing heavy lifting tasks.

Qualifications
Proven experience operating cherry pickers or similar equipment is preferred.
Familiarity with forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers is advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and effectively.
Experience with RF scanners for order picking is a plus.
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
Team-oriented mindset with effective communication skills.
