WANTED! INDEPENDENT MEDICARE SALES REP

We are Porter Insurance Professionals, a Memphis based insurance agency specializing in servicing the needs of the senior community. We are seeking driven and motivated independent field agents to join our team and help drive sales growth. This position will require the representative to be responsible for identifying and pursuing sales leads, building relationships with potential clients, and closing deals to achieve sales targets. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, customer service and listening skills as well as patience. The rep must be able to work independently at a high level. You must be self sufficient.

Leads will be provided, however, the most success will come from your efforts. This an independent sales position that allows for more flexibility. The representative will work on their own time and there are no goals. Leads are available as long as the representative shows production.

We also offer captive agent contracts that will allow for the representative to be paid a monthly stipend plus more leads will be provided, however the goal would be greater. This is NOT an independent agent position. This is a captive agent position. There will be strict quotas.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify and pursue sales leads through a variety of channels, including phone, email, and social media

Build and maintain relationships with potential clients to drive sales growth

Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client relationships using a CRM system

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to better understand clients' needs and identify new sales opportunities

Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medicare plan sales

Strong working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Ability to explain and make complex issues simple to understand

Ability to work independently

Must speak Spanish
