Drive Local. Class A Route Delivery Driver (Food Distribution)

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A Route Delivery Driver to deliver food products to local schools. This position requires hands-on freight handling, including unloading pallets using a lift gate and pallet jack, and breaking down pallets when necessary. Drivers must be comfortable operating in tight delivery spaces and small parking lots.

This is a touch-freight position requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on assigned delivery routes
Deliver food products to schools in a timely and professional manner
Break down pallets and stage product as required by customer
Navigate tight spaces, including school loading docks and restricted parking areas
Verify delivery accuracy and complete required paperwork
Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Minimum Requirements
1 year with a Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
Minimum 1 year of recent, verifiable driving experience
Recent delivery experience with touch freight required
Experience operating a pallet jack and lift gate
Strong backing skills, including maneuvering in tight spaces
No more than 1 at-fault accident
No more than 3 points on current MVR
Ability to lift, push, and pull product regularly
