We are looking for a Service Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized dining room, and supports both the service team and our guests with professionalism and care.

**Position Summary**

As a Busser, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth service by supporting servers, maintaining cleanliness, and resetting tables efficiently. Your attention to detail and teamwork will help create a seamless dining experience that reflects the high standards of our restaurant.

**Key Responsibilities**

Quickly and efficiently clear and reset tables between guests.
Stock and maintain service stations with necessary supplies (glassware, silverware, napkins, condiments).
Assist servers with food and beverage service, including replenishing water and beverages.
Transport dirty dishware to the dishwashing area and maintain a clean dining environment.
Wipe down chairs, booths, and tables; sweep or clean floors as needed.
Perform restroom checks to ensure cleanliness and restocking.
Support the service team with food running and general guest needs.
Assist with special cleaning tasks and unexpected situations (e.g., spills).
Contribute to overall guest satisfaction by maintaining a welcoming and efficient dining atmosphere.

**Qualifications**

Previous busser or restaurant experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills. CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH A MUST.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs throughout shifts.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of Japanese food and service style a plus (but not required).
Strong organizational abilities.
