Job Description
In search of a full time Hospitality professional (Matr d/Lead server). Highly rated established fine dining restaurant. Appropriate Image is important- think friendly, well dressed (not stuffy), contemporary professional style (business casual?) Great communication skills between staff, clientele and ownership. Upbeat.
Responsibilities:
Create a formal and welcoming environment for clients
Act as a liaison between the guest, owner, chef, and service staff and communicate accordingly.
Work with efficiency and a sense of urgency while remaining composed..
Demonstrate an understanding of reservations booking strategies and a working knowledge of all functions of Open Table (reservation system) and Toast (pos system).
Lead and collaborate with owner and chef to “build the book” and boost cover counts while taking into consideration, the needs of the business, importance of atmosphere and vibe as well as the needs of our guests. Overall responsibility for front of house.
Skills & Requirements
2+ years of experience in the role of Maitre D at a fine dining establishment or full time captain/server in a recognized high quality establishment.
A passion for guest experience and hospitality and passion for food and wine.
Evenings and weekends required
Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required

There is huge room for growth as we are planning on expansion in the near future.
Compensation will be based on the greater portion of gratuity. Our current Lead Server Makes about $35 an hour. Plus bonus for booking parties if capable.
