Job Description

Precision. Process. Craftsmanship.

If you are a skilled remodeler who values accuracy, sequencing, and doing the work correctly the first time, this position offers a stable, structured environment where craftsmanship is respected.

TraVek is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to execute kitchen and bath remodels within a disciplined production system. This role is designed for a professional who prefers well-defined scopes, clear plans, and methodical execution over chaos and constant change.

You will not need to chase work, negotiate pricing, or manage billing. We provide the pipeline, design documentation, scheduling framework, and production support. Your responsibility is execution at a high technical standard.

What This Role Provides

• Consistent backlog of scheduled projects
• 1–2 active projects at a time to maintain quality control
• Clear scopes of work, drawings, and material specifications
• Structured production management support
• Piece-rate compensation tied to measurable output
• W2 employment with full benefits
• Stable schedule without excessive overtime
• Option to work with a trusted helper
• Defined expectations and accountability standards

Position Overview

As a Lead Carpenter, you will self-perform and manage kitchen and bath remodels from demolition through completion.

You are responsible for technical execution, sequencing, jobsite organization, and adherence to plan specifications. This role requires deep hands-on knowledge of framing, cabinetry installation, finish carpentry, drywall, tile integration, and jobsite logistics.

The right candidate prefers clarity over ambiguity, systems over improvisation, and quality over speed.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute kitchen and bath remodels according to approved plans and scope
• Maintain strict adherence to sequencing and construction standards
• Self-perform carpentry and coordinate specialty trades
• Maintain clean, organized, and controlled job sites
• Communicate factual progress updates to Production Manager
• Identify discrepancies between design intent and field conditions early
• Maintain personal tools in proper working condition
• Follow established scheduling and production systems

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years hands-on remodeling experience (kitchens and baths preferred)
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and structural integrity
• High standards for fit, finish, and durability
• Ability to read and interpret plans accurately
• Independent work ethic within structured systems
• Professional, direct communication style
• Low tolerance for sloppy workmanship
• Reliable transportation and complete tool set
