Canandaigua Driving School (part of the Leonard’s Express family) is expanding and hiring a
CDL Class A Driving Instructor to train new commercial drivers. If you enjoy teaching, mentoring, and working in a positive environment, this is a great opportunity with full benefits and steady hours.

✔ What You’ll Do

Teach Class A & B driving skills (turns, backing, inspections, etc.)
Coach students from range to road
Maintain a safe, positive learning environment




✔ Who We’re Looking For

CDL Class A with 2+ years experience
Strong communication & patience with new drivers
Instructor or training experience is a plus
Will consider candidates with great work history & attitude




✔ Requirements (Per NYS Law)

21+ years old
HS Diploma or equivalent
Must pass NY DMV written/vision/road tests
No felony convictions or crimes involving violence/dishonesty
