Dishwasher – Job Description

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all kitchen equipment, dishes, glassware, utensils, and food preparation areas. This role ensures a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, trash areas, and storage spaces

Assist with basic food prep or kitchen support as needed

Properly store clean equipment and supplies

Follow all sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to cleanliness and organization

Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
