Able & Ready construction has been in business since 2007. We are looking for skilled people to add to our exceptional team. We specialize in kitchen/bath, addition, renovations and remodels. We are looking for an all-around tradesman with extensive hands-on experience in Carpentry, Cabinet installation, Framing, Finish Trim, Drywall, Painting, Light Electrical, Deck Building, basically someone with an all-around construction skill and knowledge, as well as candidates that specialized in painting. Who also is a team-oriented, talented individual who is motivated, efficient and mechanically minded for full time employment.

These positions will perform construction related functions in support of the overall goal. A Quality project with Customer satisfaction being the top priority. Self-sufficiency is a must, but the ability to take direction and work as a team is mandatory.

Able & Ready performs background checks and drug testing on all potential employees and is a drug-free company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 to $33.00 hour OR BOE

Qualifications and Skills

● LOOKING SPECIFICALLY FOR DRYWALL TEXTURE SPECIALIST.

ALL IS A PLUS:

Good, overall knowledge of most trades: Rough Carpentry -- Framing --Finish Trim -- Plumbing -- Light Electrical -- Tiling -- Painting --Drywall -- Finish Carpentry -- Cabinet Installation -- Deck Building

● Ability to follow verbal and written directions while working alone or with others.

● Competent on a computer or smartphone, a MUST!

● Build trust and professional relationships with clients.

● Be able to examine a problem situation and come up with a resolution in a prompt and professional manner.

● Provide work documentation to include photos, reading contracts. Track time on jobs. Providing oral and written communication regarding job progress and collecting payments when necessary.

● Keep the work area safe and clean for clients, fellow team members and yourself.

● Clean driving record and MVR a premium

● Looking for leaders with the ability to listen and advance.

● Punctual and dependable; be at work on time every day.

● Ability to use cordless drivers, levels, and nail guns.

● Ability to safely climb a ladder.

Required Equipment and Truck/Van

● Must have a standard set of tools to perform most trades.

● Must own your own truck or van with a valid driver's license and insurance.

● Must live within the Prescott Quad city area.
