Domestic Assistant for Family (Cleaning & Laundry| $30+/hr |10 hrs/wk)

We are looking for an experienced residential house cleaner to support our busy household on a regular basis.

We are a busy home with four homeschooled children and tutors, so there are almost always people around. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working in an active, lived-in home and enjoys helping keep things running smoothly day to day.

What we’re looking for:
• Prior residential cleaning experience required (at least 2 months as a pro cleaner)
• Comfortable working while family members and tutors are present
• Positive, and willing to occasionally model or explain basic cleaning tasks to children
• Self starter. Needs no guidance or direction. Would rather get the job done quickly than wait around to get it perfect.

Schedule:
• Workdays between Monday–Thursday
• Start time: no earlier than 9:00 AM
• End time: must be finished by 2:00 PM
• Schedule is flexible and can be 2 longer days (e.g., Monday & Thursday), or shorter hours spread across more days

Job Responsibilities:
• Handle both the pre-clean (organizing, resetting spaces, prep work) and the actual cleaning
• Maintain consistent cleanliness and organization throughout the week
• Daily picking up and putting away items throughout the house
• Keep household laundry moving, including putting laundry away
• Keep dishes and the dishwasher running (loading, unloading, resetting)
• Occasionally work alongside children as they learn to help with cleaning tasks
• Help keep common areas functional and orderly despite frequent daily use
