Bar/Restaurant Doorman – Social Room (Hollywood, FL)

Social Room is an upscale neighborhood bar located in downtown Hollywood, FL, and we are currently looking for a front-door security professional to join our team.

This role is guest-facing and sets the tone for the entire experience. We are seeking someone who understands that professionalism, discretion, and hospitality matter just as much as security.

Responsibilities:

Enforce age restrictions and dress code with consistency and professionalism

Greet guests and manage the front entrance in a calm, welcoming manner

Maintain order and ensure a safe, respectful environment

Communicate clearly with management and staff

Represent the Social Room brand with confidence and poise

Ideal Candidate:

3–4+ years of experience in security or door management within hospitality, lounges, or nightlife

Mild-mannered, respectful, and level-headed (no aggressive personalities)

Strong customer service and people skills

Extremely reliable and punctual

Comfortable saying “no” politely and firmly when required

Interested in long-term growth with a professional hospitality group

Requirements:

Must be 21+

Valid ID

Prior hospitality or nightlife security experience required

Ability to stand for extended periods and work late evenings/weekends
