Part-Time Family Dinner Cook & Kitchen Helper (Weeknights)

We’re a family of four seeking a reliable, organized, and warm person to help with weeknight dinners and light household support. Our household includes two kids (middle- and high-school age) with varying schedules and dietary needs.

Responsibilities include:

Menu planning and maintaining a simple rotating meal plan

Tracking grocery needs and keeping kitchen lists updated

Preparing, cooking, and serving dinner (often in waves as family members arrive home at different times)

Following recipes and accommodating dietary variations for the kids

Cleaning up the kitchen after dinner

Very light housekeeping (occasional laundry, tidying common areas)

Schedule:

Monday–Friday

Start time around 5:00–5:30pm

90 minutes to 2 hours per evening

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys home cooking, is detail-oriented, and is comfortable working independently in a busy but warm family environment. Note: we have a large, loving, calm dog (sheepadoodle).
