Senior Structural Concrete Estimator / Preconstruction Lead

RCCI is a growing structural and site concrete contractor serving public works and private commercial markets throughout Southern California.

We are seeking a high-level Senior Structural Concrete Estimator who thrives in a structured, accountable environment and is ready to help build and improve our preconstruction process.

Position Overview
This is a leadership-track role.
The Senior Estimator will prepare detailed, accurate estimates for complex structural and site concrete projects while helping strengthen estimating systems and quality control processes.
You will work directly with ownership and play a key role in protecting margin, managing risk, and mentoring additional estimating staff as the company grows.
This position requires discipline, accuracy, and a strong understanding of structural concrete construction.

Responsibilities
• Perform detailed Division 03 & 31 quantity takeoffs
• Estimate podium decks, parking structures, multi-story buildings, retaining walls, and site packages
• Analyze formwork, shoring, crane logistics, pump strategy, and manpower requirements
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents thoroughly
• Identify scope gaps and risk exposure
• Prepare scope clarifications and bid summaries
• Participate in structured internal bid review meetings
• Contribute to development of estimating QA checklists and historical cost databases
• Support and mentor junior estimators as the department grows

Qualifications
• 8–15+ years structural concrete estimating experience
• Proven experience with podium decks and multi-level structures
• Strong understanding of labor production rates and sequencing
• Experience bidding public works projects preferred
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, OST, Planswift, or similar software
• Highly detail-oriented and process-driven
• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Base Salary: $225,000.00
