Location: Hot Springs, AR Health Benefits: Medical, prescription, dental, vision, flexible spending account (FSA), dependent care flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA)Retirement/Investing:401K with a 5% match, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Insurance: Employee Life Insurance, short and long-term disability, critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, spouse/domestic partner/child life insurance, accidental death and dismembermentOther great benefits: Employee discounts, save on auto, home, and pet insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation and sick time, 9 paid holidays and 3 paid floating holidays, paid leave for when you have a baby, adopt a child, or become a foster parent, legal services, identity theft protection, employee assistance program (EAP), adoption reimbursement benefit, FEDlogic, commuter benefits Responsibilities: Serve as the lead within the plant for Company Quality initiatives including the implementation of the Primo Brands Quality Management SystemServes as Food Safety and Quality System (FSMS) Team Leader to ensure the training of Food Safety Team Members, ensures that the FSQS is established, implemented, maintained, and updated and reports to the Factory & Market Quality Managers on FSQS effectiveness & suitabilityPrepare for all Company Quality Audits, ISO audits and respond to issuesEnsure compliance and record keeping for all mandated quality checks, testing, sampling and sanitation activitiesTrack, analyze, and lead initiatives for all quality and customer complaint issues within the plantServe as plant liaison with the Customer Service Center, Consumer Affairs and with consumers for quality and complaint issuesPrepare and maintain permitting and licensing for the plantManage budgeting, purchasing and inventory of plant operating supplies such as filters, chemicals and lab suppliesCoordinate activities and develop good relationships with key vendorsMonitor the performance and competencies of plant QA staff and provide leadership, coaching and development as neededLead the execution of cultural changes and activities needed to support Primo Brands quality processes and proceduresDevelop initiatives to improve plant performance against Primo Brands Quality measures and ensure plant compliance with company and regulatory standardsProvide day-to-day leadership to the QA Department and act as the primary liaison to Corporate QA departments, Corporate and outside laboratories, and to external regulatory agencies (FDA, IBWA, EPA, etc.).May serve as plant representative for regional quality forums and initiatives Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in physical science is preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experienceThree or more years of experience in quality assurance within clean (food, bev, pharma) manufacturing and two or more years of experience in a supervisory capacityThree or more years of experience in a workplace safety, security, and environmental programs.Demonstrated application of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP's) and knowledge of GMP'sA minimum of 2 years of administration and compliance with State/Federal OSHA, EPA, and local Air Quality Management District.Knowledge of Statistical Process Control, HACCP, sanitation, and hygienic designFamiliarity with quality and hygiene regulations as it relates to FDA and state requirements preferred.Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and business management software (SAP preferred)Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives on tight deadlines and delegate accordingly.Effective communication skills with the ability to influence change and encourage action.Solid problem-solving abilities with the ability to coach and mentor others in this capacity.Demonstrated track record of developing employees.Ability and willingness to respond to afterhours calls for critical issues and provide weekend coverage a few times/year.
