## Who We Are & What We Sell

We are SimpleSmartSolar.com. We’ve been in traditional solar for 20+ years. These days: We are a nationwide community solar subscriber management organization that enrolls utility (grid) customers so they can buy their electricity from their local community solar farm at a discount. They get clean, local, renewable solar power allocated to their future usage and pay 10–55% less on their Xcel bill (in Colorado - it's different in different states), depending on several factors. They can save money for up to 20 years by enrolling, so it's like getting 2 years of electricity for free - pretty nice!

We help the environment by moving people off coal-heavy generation and onto clean, local solar. We enroll residential, business, and government customers online in just a few minutes using our proprietary and partner web apps on our phones/tablets (or the customer’s device) - it's completely administrative and there's no panels on the roof or permits that need to be pulled to slow things down.

For residential customers, there are no signup fees – it is always free to enroll. Some businesses may pay setup fees, depending on multiple factors.

After enrolling, customers receive a new, lower-cost electricity bill from their local solar farm, designed to replace the electricity generation portion of their current Xcel bill, kwh for kwh. This new bill shows how much solar power was produced by the subscriber's allocation of their local solar garden, and how much will be deducted from their Xcel bill. All they need is their power bill (which almost everyone can pull up on their phone) in order to enroll, so we can allocate the right amount of power to them.

Our market is huge: anyone who gets a power bill. Renters, apartments, townhomes, condos, mobile homes, tiny homes, apartment communities/property manager/landlords that include electricity in a gross rent price, shopping malls, industrial facilities, small businesses, business parks, skyscrapers – they all likely qualify. You sign them up, they save money, you get paid.

In Colorado, we sign up Xcel Energy and Black Hills Energy customers (no co-op utilities), so we work everywhere in Colorado that they serve which is essentially along the entire front range and I70 corridors including all major cities like Denver Metro, Ft. Collins/Greeley, Co Springs, Boulder, Pueblo, Summitt County, Grand Junction, all along I70, and many other areas. We can sign people up in many states, but right now we're only focusing on the Colorado team/market before we open up offices in new cities.

Sales is not "easy", but this is an easy “sale” because we’re not asking for money. In fact: most customers aren’t billed for 2–4 months after signing up, and everyone wants to save money. We do this nationwide, every day.

The only real “downside”? Capacity is limited. Not everyone who wants in will be able to enroll once slots are full. The good news: our solar farm partners (which we've sold out) are building more capacity specifically for us to sell, so we'll be doing this well into the future.

This means we're only looking for top performers since this is a truly awesome opportunity/position and way to make money (if you know how to sell), and you can make a lot, and live a great lifestyle with a flexible schedule, depending on how your choose to run your business.

We’re building a team in Denver to sell in Colorado. We’re also looking for rockstars (ideally Spanish bilingual, Colorado-based) for a national traveling team: pros who can help us build momentum here and then go into other markets to smash goals and fulfill exclusive contracts with our multi‑billion‑dollar clients.

Utilities don’t sign customers up for these programs, ever – it must be done through a third party like us (per the law in many states).

We’ve become the #1 go‑to enrollment organization for community solar farm owners, managers, and investors in many states and we are often their exclusive subscriber channel.

We’re early in a fast‑growing industry that’s mandated by law in most states (and which most are still unaware of - education is a big part of what we're doing), and we’re looking for fellow top performers to join us and cash in.

We are tech‑savvy and will set you up with a unique URL to share on your social media/other to drive online traffic and track your commissions. We’re open‑minded about how we generate sales but only do so ethically.

Our core recruiting focus here is hard‑charging pros who knock doors, canvass, and sign people up through their own effort whether online, offline, at doors, at events (a table at a farmer's market or other event/retail location?) - however they are most productive in their efforts. Those people are highly compensated.

We are currently a virtual/distributed salesforce and actively looking to stand up a physical Denver office in the next few weeks. ## Roles We’re Hiring For

We have several independent contractor opportunities. In all roles, if you don’t sell, you don’t earn. You use your own tools, phone, computer, and vehicle. Expenses are yours unless pre‑agreed for reimbursement (such as for travel engagements). You can sell in person and online (online pays less since another rep will finalize the sale by phone or in person). There is no income cap. If you want to advertise online, there are rules and an agreement is required. We only work with people under a written, digitally signed agreement.

### 1) Direct Residential Sales – Colorado (PT or FT)

You’re eager, ready, and able to make serious money knocking doors in Colorado. Your mission: sign up residential customers to save money on their power bill with no cost, no catches, no panels on the roof, and free cancellation anytime. You earn based on how much power they use. Most residential deals pay an average of $100, some less, and some pay several hundred. Since this is direct field sales/D2D for most people, they work late afternoons/evenings/weekends when people are home, or online. It's not unusual to average $100/hr or more by closing roughly one deal per hour. The record is 12 deals in a 4‑hour shift – can you beat it? A sale takes under 10 minutes once someone is interested. Your job is to get them to stop, think, and say “yes” to saving money and get them to grasp the fact that you're not asking for any money on the spot.

You set your own schedule, use your own tools, and already know how to close because you’ve been doing it for years. We’ll train you on program specifics, campaigns, enrollment requirements, disqualifiers, and we host a weekly call we expect you on. Beyond that, you run your own show.

Work more, earn more. Six figures part‑time is absolutely on the table if you know how to sell and actually put in the hours. We want producers, not talkers. ## How We Work & What’s Next

To reiterate: this is an independent contractor sales position. No base, no salary. If you don’t sell, you don’t get paid. Your time, tools, and travel are your responsibility unless we explicitly agree otherwise. You can sell in person and online, but closing deals in‑person pays the most.

There is no income cap. If you’re the kind of sales animal who can enroll 15 people a day across online and offline channels, the math can get very big, very fast - that level of performer would be making over $500,000/yr if they did that 7 days a week, and all sales generate an average $100 commission (just generating leads online pays less).

Our family of companies are always looking for strong reps. If you’re a pro‑level independent salesperson who wants high income potential, the ability to work from home, and the chance to effectively run your own sales business, we also sell other services in B2C and B2B. If you’re a better fit for one of those, we’ll tell you. Our businesses operate in home/property services, technology services, startup business services, and select financial services niches.
