Collaborative Bookkeeper – In-Person or Screen-Share (QuickBooks O/L)

Bookkeeper Wanted for QB Online - Collaborative, In-Person / Screen-Share Support

I am seeking an experienced, patient bookkeeper who is comfortable working collaboratively and side-by-side, either in person or via screen share.

This is not a traditional “drop it off and review later” bookkeeping role. I work best when I can observe the bookkeeping process in real time, quietly and without interruption, so that questions can be addressed immediately and nothing is left unclear weeks or months later.

What this looks like:
• Monthly sessions (typically 1–3 hours)
• You enter transactions into QuickBooks while I observe
• I remain quiet and unobtrusive; questions are addressed as they arise
• Real-time clarification so nothing is deferred or guessed
• No expectation that I will respond well to follow-up emails with detailed questions — real-time conversation works best for me

This role is a good fit for someone who:
• Is patient, steady, and comfortable being observed while working
• Enjoys explaining what they are doing when needed
• Values clarity and transparency over speed
• Is not rushed, reactive, or purely efficiency-driven
• Is confident in QuickBooks Online
• Understands that this collaborative approach prevents rework later

• This is not about micromanagement or control
• I am happy to pay for the time involved
• I am looking for the right fit, not the fastest or cheapest option
• Students, retired professionals, or independent bookkeepers are welcome
