Class A CDL Driver (OTR)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced OTR Class A Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers across long-distance routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. This role requires strong driving skills, and the ability to manage freight loads efficiently. The position offers an opportunity to work with Dry Vans supporting our commitment to dependable logistics services. Team driver program available, SAP/FELONY programs available .

Responsibilities

Safely operate tractor-trailers with automatic transmission across regional and national routes.
Manage route driving schedules to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to Hours of Service regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight documentation, and delivery records.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates or delivery issues.
Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Ensure proper handling of cargo , and freight requiring special handling.
Qualifications

2 yrs Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record.
Experience operating tractor-trailers with automatic transmissions preferred.
Prior experience in freight delivery, route driving, or long-haul trucking required.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards for commercial driving.
Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and customer service.
Physical ability to handle freight loads and perform routine vehicle inspections. This position is essential for maintaining efficient logistics operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable delivery services.
