Housekeeper Needed (traditional housekeeping duties) $17 an hour

Housekeeper sought. Trying to think of everything possible needed at any time and this is just housekeeping - so:
Core cleaning duties (regular/weekly) - Dusting surfaces (furniture, shelves, décor, baseboards as needed)
-Vacuuming carpets/rugs - Sweeping and mopping hard floors - Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms (toilets, showers/tubs, sinks, mirrors) - Cleaning kitchen surfaces (counters, sink, stovetop exterior) - Wiping appliance exteriors (fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher) - Emptying trash and replacing liners - Spot-cleaning fingerprints/smudges (doors, light switches, cabinet fronts) -
Straightening/tidying common areas (resetting rooms)
Deep-clean / periodic duties (monthly/seasonal or by request)
Cleaning inside microwave, oven (interior), refrigerator (interior) - Washing baseboards, door frames, vents, ceiling fan blades -
Cleaning windows (interior) and window sills/tracks - Detailed dusting (blinds, behind/under furniture as accessible) -
Steam-cleaning or shampooing carpets (if equipped/assigned) -Cleaning light fixtures (safe/reachable) - Wiping down walls (spot wash) - Cleaning inside cabinets/drawers (if requested) - Descaling faucets/showerheads (hard-water areas)
Laundry & linen duties

Sorting laundry (colors, delicates) - Washing/drying/folding/putting away clothes - Ironing/steaming clothing -
Changing bed linens and making beds - Washing towels, bath mats, kitchen linens -Spot-treating stains -
Managing dry-cleaning pickup/drop-off (if requested)

Kitchen support (light household support)

Washing dishes or loading/unloading dishwasher - Hand-washing delicate items - Cleaning countertops after meals -
Taking out kitchen trash/recycling - Basic pantry/fridge wipe-down and organizing (light) -
Noting low supplies (paper towels, soap, trash bags, etc.)

Organization & “reset” tasks

Decluttering/tidying surfaces (within agreed boundaries) - Organizing closets, cabinets, pantry (light or detailed—by request) -
Toy room / play area pickup - Entryway/foyer reset (shoes, coats, bags) - Making the home “guest ready” (quick refresh)

Outdoor / exterior light tasks (varies a lot)

Sweeping porch/patio - Wiping outdoor furniture - Cleaning entry glass door -
Bringing in deliveries - Light watering (only if requested and simple)
