Entry Level Family Law Associate Attorney!

Well-established Bay Area family law firm is seeking an entry-level Family Law Attorney to join our growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who have experience handling contested cases, such as through training with a public defender’s office or a district attorney’s office. We are seeking a compassionate, confident, and committed litigator who is enthusiastic about learning family law and brings some courtroom experience. We will provide training in family law litigation, including its procedures and best practices.
Responsibilities:

Handle family law cases, including divorce, custody, support, DVROs, and property division
Conduct client consultations and provide legal advice
Draft pleadings, declarations, discovery, settlement agreements, and trial briefs
Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
Manage case strategy and maintain regular communication with clients
Work collaboratively with support staff, paralegals, and other attorneys

Qualifications:

Active California Bar license in good standing
Candidates with courtroom experience in any field are preferred
Strong litigation and courtroom skills
Excellent writing, research, and negotiation abilities
Ability to manage deadlines and maintain organized case files
Compassionate, professional, and client-focused
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
