Breakwater Enrichment Center is accepting applications for a part-time afterschool private music lesson teacher in our vibrant and dynamic School Year AfterCare Program.

About the Position:
We seek a creative, compassionate, and energetic Music Teacher to provide private or semi-private music instruction to students in our afterschool Enrichment program.

Music instructors teach in 30 minute blocks during the after school hours on our campus. Days of the week and number of lessons a day are flexible. Seeking instructors in guitar and/or piano. Other instruments are welcome. Music lesson students are in Kindergarten through 8th grade and are mostly at the beginning and intermediate level.

Schedule and Start Date:
Hours for the position are part-time during the school year, starting in the week of February 23rd through June 5th, 2026). No programming during vacation weeks.

Qualifications:
History of professional work experience with children in Kindergarten through 8th grade
Demonstrated ability to engage in positive relationships with staff, supervisors, children, and families
Ability to be flexible, work collaboratively, and support the program as a whole
Experience in planning, designing and leading engaging music lessons
