Job Description

Lead a team of sealcoaters on residential, commercial and industrial projects. The job is in Portland, Oregon so relocation expenses are negotiable.
Equipment Operation
• Operate all essential sealcoating equipment, including Buggy machine, Spray rigs, Blowers, cleaning equipment and supporting equipment, Crackseal pot, Tanker truck, and more.
• Accurately apply sealer by spray AND Buggy according to specifications.

Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
• Perform daily inspections, basic repairs, and routine maintenance on all equipment.
• Diagnose operational or mechanical issues quickly to reduce downtime.
• Coordinate major repairs with mechanics or management.

Safety & Compliance
• Enforce safety protocols on job sites.
• Ensure proper handling of sealers, fuels, additives, and materials.
• Maintain accurate job documentation, logs, and reports.

Required
• 3+ years of sealcoating or pavement maintenance experience.
• Proven ability to run a buggy and operate spray equipment effectively.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose equipment issues.
• Leadership skills and ability to direct a crew.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor.
• English proficiency (Spanish proficiency a strong plus).

Preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• CDL Class B with tanker endorsement — or willingness to obtain one with company assistance.
• Experience training crew members and sealcoating lifestyle in the summer here in Oregon.
