Factory Manager & Lead Assembler

We're a growing lighting company offering an immediate position for a Factory Manager & Lead Assembler to help us get to the next level.

College degree not required, but work experience in electrical assembly and warehouse is required. Good attitude is required.

This job offers $22.50/hour + up to $10,000 end of year bonus if we exceed our sales and production goals.

You will begin by learning how to assemble our line of electrical products ultimately becoming the lead assembler and factory manager.

You must have at least 2 years of consistent experience with the following:
1. electrical assembly - stripping, taping, crimping and general basic wiring (hot, neutral, ground, switches)
2. Wire management - measuring, cutting, preparation
3. Product inspection (quality control)
4. Packaging
5. Inventory - physical counts, estimating, tracking quantities to avoid stock-outs
6. Shipping
7. SKU memorization (numbers)
8. Basic computer skills
9. Interviewing & hiring
10. You must be able to make yourself available when necessary - early mornings, evenings, or weekends - to complete necessary and urgent tasks
11. Reading, attention to detail and problem solving
12. Warehouse organization
13. Process improvement

Your job will begin with:
- measuring, cutting and preparing wire for assembly using our cutting table
- inspecting and preparing cases for assembly
- the job requires ability to lift up to 50lbs (with help if necessary)
- job requires wearing safety equipment including face mask/filter, goggles or protective eyewear

Starting Pay $22.50 with quarterly bonuses of $1,000 and end of year bonus of $10,000 if goals are met

If you have a strong work ethic, skill, and have shown commitment to prior employers (2+ years of consistent employment with at least one company)

This is a full time role, with occasional necessary overtime.

Wire pre-assembly (stripping wire using a stripping machine and/or hand tools), Assembling a plug to the end
Using adhesive to connect components to a casing
Listening to the assemblers
Following an order list

Must be good at learning new skills, eagerness to work, and ability to work quickly. You will be expected to take over as factory manager as soon as you master the assembly skills and will be responsible for assembling along side a team of assemblers along with overseeing factory operations.

Power tool experience required: hand drills, drill press, sanders, etc. Hand tool experience also required.

Previous experience in metal finishing preferred but not required.

Education - None required, we just want people willing to work; helps to be coordinated and attentive to detail - Show us what you can do.
