Journeyman Level Automotive Technician- Starts at $38/hr (negotiable)

Looking for an experienced technician for our shop. We primarily work on fleet vehicles (gas and diesel), but do work on residential/general public vehicles as well. We mostly work on American and Asian Manufactured vehicles up to 1-ton Trucks (some fleets DO have a few F450/F550). We are a full-service repair shop that has been family owned and operated since 1952.

Ideal candidates should have at least 5 years or more of on the job experience of general automotive repair (both gasoline and diesel). ASE certifications are highly desired for this position and Smog Licenses are required. As you already know, you must supply your own tools, however we do provide plenty of additional diagnostic scan tools and various shop tools to help with day-to-day tasks. In addition, we provide a clean and safe working environment, multiple lifts as well as a modern alignment rack/machine. Our scan tools are modern and are updated as needed.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Accurate automotive diagnostics and repairs- includes engine, transmission and drivetrain replacements/repairs, miscellaneous/various vehicle repairs, both gasoline and modern light duty diesel vehicles.

We are the only independent light truck & car repair shop in this area that is in the Machinists & Mechanical Lodge 2182 Union.

Compensation and Benefits as per Union Contract, include:

Work Schedule:

- Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (weekends and Major holidays off) No nights or weekends- you need time off!
