Position Summary
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining financial integrity, and leading a high-performing team. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage staff, control costs, and uphold company standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.



Key Responsibilities

Operations & Facility Management
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and cleanliness standards
• Conduct end-of-day facility inspections and secure the restaurant at close

Cash Handling & Financial Controls
• Manage all cash-handling procedures, including drawer counts, safe drops, and deposits
• Reconcile daily sales, cash over/shorts, and credit card transactions
• Prepare and submit daily closing reports and financial documentation
• Ensure adherence to loss-prevention and cash-control policies

Staff Leadership & Employee Management
• Supervise, coach, and support front-of-house and back-of-house employees
• Enforce company policies, attendance standards, and performance expectations
• Address employee issues, conflicts, and disciplinary matters professionally
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and staff development

Scheduling & Labor Management
• Prepare weekly employee schedules in alignment with sales forecasts and labor budgets
• Monitor labor costs and adjust staffing levels based on business volume
• Ensure proper shift coverage and operational efficiency

Reporting & Administrative Responsibilities
• Run daily, weekly, and monthly operational and financial reports
• Track performance metrics and identify opportunities for operational improvement
• Maintain accurate records including incident reports, cash logs, and employee documentation

Guest Experience & Customer Service
• Maintain a visible presence on the floor to ensure exceptional guest service
• Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally
• Uphold brand standards and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests
• Serve as the primary point of escalation for guest concerns
