Commercial Roofing Superintendent

Required Skills/Competencies
• Must have knowledge and experience with multiple roofing systems (Single-Ply, BUR, Shingle, Tile)
• Good verbal communication skills
• Organizational Skills & crew management
• Must speak English (bilingual in Spanish is a plus)
• Must meet our driver eligibility requirements (Motor Vehicle Driving Record Report will be processed)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Primary Duties/Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Meet with Production manager daily to go over project production and crew allocation
• Daily site inspections: inspections to include safety plan enforcement, work progress and equipment to ensure safety compliance and correct specifications are being met
• Attend pre-job walks with foremen, project managers and other involved parties
• Must be able to identify potential problems before they arise and determine as well as implement effective solutions to those potential problems and communicate all issues with the production manager
• During production, ensure that the right materials are being used and that there are enough materials to accomplish the project
• Help to Coordinate all sub trades involved on the project
• Perform final project inspections with foremen on completion of project and provide written punch list to foremen. Ensure punch list work was completed
• Meet with manufactures inspectors or city inspectors for all inspections
Education and Experience
• At least 3-4 years of experience in commercial roofing trade required
• OSHA 10 Hour, must be obtained within first 60 days of employment, this will be paid for by Premier Roof
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to tolerate heights: must be able to climb ladders: must be able to climb roofs of varying pitches and heights (flat to 8/12 pitch): must be able to lift and set up a 2-story ladder: must be able to work outdoors in varying and extreme climate conditions
