Part-Time Personal Assistant Needed – Friendly Family, Daytime Hours

We are a happy, friendly family who recently moved to the east side of Alameda and are getting settled in, and we’re looking for a reliable and trustworthy part-time personal assistant to help with basic household organization and local errands. We also have a 4-year-old, so comfort being around a young child is important (this is not a childcare position, but our child may be home occasionally).

This role is especially well-suited for retirees or parents who have extra time during the day while kids are at school. We’re easygoing, respectful, and appreciate someone who enjoys helping bring order and ease to everyday life.

Responsibilities may include:

Organizing household items, closets, and storage areas

Running local errands (shopping, returns, drop-offs, etc.)

Light administrative help (simple scheduling, reminders)

Occasional assistance with miscellaneous household tasks as we get settled

Ideal candidate:

Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented

Comfortable working independently in a private home

Friendly, positive, and respectful

Comfortable being around a young child

Local to the area with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Details:

Part-time, flexible daytime hours

Pay: ~$30/hour, depending on experience

Ongoing role for the right person
