Salt and Butter in Garden State Plaza is seeking a charismatic, high-energy Lead Host/Hostess who knows how to "own the door." We aren't just looking for someone to stand behind a podium—we need a pro who can engage the people in the hallway- convert menu-lookers into diners, and manage the flow of a busy dining room.
The Role:
• The "Hook": Actively engage with people browsing our menu outside and invite them in for the salt and butter experience.
• Reservation Master: Manage reservations with precision, ensuring maximum occupancy without overwhelming the kitchen.
• The Voice of the Restaurant: Handle high-volume phone inquiries and bookings with a professional, helpful tone.
• Floor Management: Strategically seat guests to maintain a smooth flow for the service team.
Requirements:
• Experience: At least 3+ years in a high-volume, high-traffic restaurant environment.
• Personality: You are an extrovert who enjoys talking to strangers and has a "sales" mentality.
• Quick Thinking: Ability to flip tables and manage wait times during a rush without breaking a sweat.
