Dog walker

Established San Francisco dog walking company is looking for an individual to join our team. The position is full time, Monday through Friday (about 5-6 hours/day). You will walk up to eight dogs per outing, mostly off leash. You would be an independent contractor



Requirements:



-Be able to pass background check

-Owner of a smart phone

-You will use one of my trucks for a couple dollars less/hour or if you have your own truck with camper shell, suv, or van we can pay you more

-CA drivers license and insurance

-Ability to pass SF dog walking certification (we will reimburse you for the cost)

-Love and understanding of dogs (experience is ideal)

-The ability to bond and gain trust of both human and dog clients/Customer Service Skills

-Knowledge of city streets (Richmond, Sunset)

-You must be available M-F 10:30am-4pm for 5-6 hours (possibly more hours over time if you want them)

-Great phone photography skills (we post our adventures daily on Facebook/IG)

-Ability to commit to the position for at least a year

-Able to lift large dogs in and out of the truck, hold up to 8 large dogs on leash

To be a great dog walker you must be responsible, dependable, punctual, strong, firm but kind, and physically able.



For this contract you would pick up the dogs at their homes, drive to a local park, walk the dogs for up to an hour (most will be off leash), and then bring them back home. The great parts of this job are being outside in nature, having short hours with good pay, being your own manager, and of course, getting lots of doggie love!



Compensation DOE plus gas compensation

There is a training period (3-6 weeks) starting at $22/hr. After training is finished you will be bumped up to $25/hr
