Shipping - Receiving / Materials Specialist

Checkpoint Technologies, LLC, located in San Jose, CA., is a vibrant, well-established manufacturing company serving the semiconductor industry. We have a strong technological base and hold a leading market position in the field of semiconductor failure analysis. Currently, we have an opening for a “Shipping-Receiving / Materials Specialist.”

Position summary:
Perform duties in Shipping, Receiving, Work Order and Kitting functions in compliance with Company requirements. Maintain shipping, receiving and stockroom locations and inventory using good housekeeping guidelines for safety and organization. Communicate well with purchasing, accounting, planning, manufacturing, and management. Comply with applicable safety, occupational health, and loss prevention requirements.

Essential job functions:
- Ship and Receive all materials associated with the company operations.
- Physically relocate materials to the proper area within the company.
- Prepare kits from the stockroom and issue to manufacturing. Complete all transactions using PC/MRP software.
- Perform cycle counts, maintain inventory accuracy and balances.
- Must be neat and organized with the ability to multi-task, taking direction from several people at the same time.
- Must be familiar with FedEx, UPS software applications for shipping product and customs documentation for international shipments.

Minimum experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience performing the above outlined duties in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with MSOffice, Excel and MRP software systems required.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Forklift experience and be certifiable for the safe operation of the forklift is a plus but not required.
- Ability to use hand tools and packaging equipment associated with the shipment of our materials and systems.

Salary Range: $30. - $32. / Hour
