Job Description

Summary
The Fleet/Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's fleet operations, warehouse activities, and material logistics to ensure our field teams are equipped, supplied, and supported efficiently. This role manages vehicle maintenance, tool tracking, and warehouse staff while ensuring safety, cost efficiency, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Management
• Manage the company's fleet of trucks, vans, and specialty vehicles and equipment used
across construction and service projects.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, DMV, OSHA, and company safety requirements
• Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure all vehicles are safe and operational.
• Track fuel usage, mileage, and maintenance costs to optimize fleet performance and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate vehicle records, registrations, insurance, and inspection logs.
• Coordinate vehicle assignments, new acquisitions, and replacements as needed.
• Monitor DOT

Warehouse Operations
• Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of electrical materials, equipment, and tools.
• Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse, ensuring materials are readily available for field operations and service calls.
• Coordinate daily material pulls, jobsite deliveries, and returns to support project schedules.

Leadership & Coordination
• Supervise warehouse staff/drivers, providing direction, training, and performance feedback.
• Promote and enforce company safety policies, including OSHA and DOT compliance.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, foremen, and purchasing to forecast material needs and coordinate logistics.
• Coordinate equipment rentals, storage containers, & jobsite sanitary facilities
• Support emergency after-hours needs as required.

Experience: 5+ years of warehouse and fleet management experience, preferably in the electrical contracting or construction industry.

Valid driver's license required

Skills:
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of fleet maintenance and vehicle compliance requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
