Automotive General Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Automotive General Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position focuses on routine vehicle maintenance and basic repairs while delivering excellent customer service. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their automotive skills in a professional shop environment.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks
Inspect vehicles for safety and maintenance issues
Replace filters, belts, hoses, batteries, wiper blades, and light bulbs
Mount, balance, and rotate tires
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members
Follow all safety procedures and shop policies

Qualifications

Basic automotive maintenance experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to use basic automotive tools and equipment
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
ASE certifications are a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods
Lift up to 50 lbs
Work in a shop environment with noise, heat, and varying conditions
