UNIQUE LIVE-IN SITUATION for KIDS’ / HOME CAREGIVER+

We are a family of 4.5 -- two working parents, two boys (15 and 9) and a puppy (small cavalier king charles spaniel) who are looking for … well, a warm extension of our family. :)

We are a cooky little family with a sizeable house + pool. We believe in love, humor, discipline, respect and resourcefulness. We’ve gotten used to having a live-in in NYC, and then again in Florida – and our current arrangement is winding down . We have a history in investing in those who invest in us, and have developed beautiful life-long relationships through such situations 😊

WHAT WE NEED:
- Support us in making sure they become increasingly resourceful (bodies are washed, teeth are brushed, chores done, etc. - easier said than done w a teen lol)
- Drive our boys to and from school (:45 away), doctors’ appointments, soccer practice and more
- Prepare breakfasts and dinners for them (if you love cooking for the family, even better)
- Be there with them when they’re off from school for whatever activities ensue
- Help us in creating responsible little human beings who are respectful, clean up after themselves, and help out around the house

And we need someone who …
- Can do the grocery shopping as needed
- Tidies up the house, kids' laundry, etc.
- Can keep our household organized and humming
- Ideally loves / is great at cooking and trying out new recipes/snacks
- Walks the puppy

YOU ARE LIKELY SOMEONE WHO …
- Would welcome a second or extended family
- Is flexible/agile with his/her approach to things (not looking at the clock)
- Can cook, drive and has an ownership mindset
- Is organized, planful, motivated, glass-full attitude
- Is either going to school part time, starting a business, taking some time out of the grind or at an inflection point in their lives such that this kind of part-time-ISH arrangement works well
- Is willing to commit 1 yr to our family

Bonus points for:
- Having an educational background
- Loving (and good at) cooking for the family vs just the kids
- Having some passion in life that you’d want to share/teach our boys
- Soccer or ping pong skills lol

We cover all room and board; you’d have access to a car (that we ask you to use responsibly), so we’re talking all $ savings 😊

During school, we’re talking ~2.5 hours in the morning to get them out the door and at school... Then pick them up at 4 in the afternoon until ~7:30pm. So you're free for the most part beyond tidying up and grocery shopping.

If the kids are off school, those days would be more like “full” days to fill with some fun, some chores and some studying. Similarly, if we're both traveling, you'd be maintaining the routine in our absence. Lastly, we’d love ~4hrs on the weekends as we prep for our work week ahead (flexible on the timing of that)

If you’re at the point in your life where you could use a little downtime from the hustle-bustle of a full-time role, while saving some money and becoming an extension of a family, this may be for you 😊
