Art Retail Store, Workshop & Gallery
Compensation: $17/hr (paid in cash)
Start Date: Monday, January 26
Position Type: Part-Time with full-time weeks as needed.

We are an art retail store, creative workshop space, and gallery seeking a reliable, friendly Sales Associate to support daily operations, assist customers, and help maintain an engaging, welcoming environment for artists and guests.

Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers in the retail and gallery areas
Process sales transactions and handle cash accurately
Help organize merchandise, art materials, and workshop supplies
Support workshop setup/cleanup and light administrative tasks
Maintain a clean, creative, and inspiring space
Provide excellent customer service and represent the studio positively
Qualifications
Previous retail, customer service, or gallery experience preferred
Comfortable working in a creative, studio-style environment
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Strong communication and people skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle light physical tasks

Training Schedule
Mon 1/26 — 12:00 PM–4:00 PM
Wed 1/28 — 12:00 PM–4:00 PM
*Fri 1/30 — 10:00 AM–2:00 PM (first working day)
February Schedule
Mon 2/2 — 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Wed 2/4 — 3:00 PM–8:00 PM
Fri 2/6 — 3:00 PM–8:00 PM

Two Pending Shift Tracks (candidate must be available for one.
Will confirm which option closer to the date)

Option A
Tues 2/10–Sat 2/14 — 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
Mon 2/16 — 10:00 AM–6:00 PM

OR

Option B
Thurs 2/12–Sat 2/14 — 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
Mon 2/16–Fri 2/20 — 10:00 AM–6:00 PM

Ongoing Hours
After 2/20, the role transitions to part-time hours
Please note: every 1–2 months, one week may require full-time hours
All hours and days may vary or change as needed
