Position Summary

College of the Redwoods Dining Services is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to support daily food service operations. This position plays a key role in providing friendly, efficient service to students, faculty, staff, and campus guests while maintaining accurate cash handling and a clean, welcoming dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Accurately process cash, credit, and meal plan transactions
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Handle cash responsibly and follow cash-handling procedures
• Assist with stocking, organizing, and maintaining service areas
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety guidelines

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
