Full time – Temp to hire
Monday through Friday – 8am to 5pm
$30 to $35hr depending on experience.

A full-service custom injection molding facility providing quality injection molding and in-house precision mold making is seeking an Injection Mold Set-Up technician to join their team in Chatsworth.

Summary: Injection Mold Set-Up is primarily responsible for setting up and removing designated molds to run parts production as designated by job cards issued by Production Manager.

Responsibilities:
• Hang designated molds, starting machines, and tuning machine set-up for best possible part production.
• Manage job card orders based on priority schedule as set forth by Production Manager.
• Maintain and repairs molding machines.
• Support training of machine operators when a new mold is put into production.
• Maintain accurate records of machine repairs and down time.
• Other department related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of work experience in related fields or work industry.
• Skilled in electrical, mechanical, and hydrolytic components for trouble shooting and repair.
• Experience with different types of resin.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, and volume.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.
• Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time during the course of workday.
• Requires essential use of hands, speech, eyesight, and hearing.
• Requires operating a forklift and valid driver license.
