Job Description
Job Title: Strategic Collaboration Partner & Lead Project Director (Public Art)
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid / Project-Based or ongoing, depends on performance )
Compensation: Performance-Based Collaboration (Estimated $70,000 – $150,000+ per project cycle via a percentage of project fees and success bonuses).
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a high-caliber Strategic Partner to co-lead the execution of landmark public art installations in Los Angeles, including projects for the 2028 Olympics.
This is not a traditional 9-to-5 employment role. This is a Joint Venture Opportunity designed for an entrepreneurial project manager or urban developer who wants to share in the financial success of large-scale civic transformations. You will partner directly with the CEO to turn a global vision into a multi-million dollar reality, benefiting from a "percentage of the win."
The Collaboration Structure
• Project Fee Share: Receive a fixed percentage (10%–15%) of the management and development fees for every project led.
• Success Bonuses: Performance-based incentives for securing corporate sponsorships and specific city grants.
• Strategic Growth: Opportunity for long-term equity in the "Unique Public Art" brand and proprietary technology.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Architecture: Co-direct all phases of monumental public art projects from site acquisition and artist selection to final unveiling.
• Stakeholder Relations: Act as a lead liaison with LA city agencies (DCA, LACDA), developers, and vendors.
• Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, procurement, and timelines with high-level precision.
• Revenue Strategy: Partner with the CEO to pitch and secure high-value corporate sponsorships and security-focused grants.
• Installation Leadership: Supervise complex logistics, site safety, and quality control for site-specific installations.
Qualifications & Attributes (the more the better):
• Experience: Professional experience managing public art, large-scale urban development, or high-stakes construction projects.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of project management software, budget modeling, and procurement processes.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Arts Administration, Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Compliance: Ability to navigate city regulations and secure necessary permits.
It is a Plus if you also have the following attributes:
• Master of the City: An established network within Los Angeles city agencies, local artist communities, and high-end vendors.
• Closer Mentality: A proven ability to negotiate contracts, finalize sponsorships, and drive projects to a successful, profitable finish.
• Strategic Network: Existing connections with high-net-worth individuals, developers, or corporate decision-makers in Southern California.
Application Process
If you are a self-starter with a "peer-partner" mindset, please submit your resume/CV and a brief cover letter outlining your most significant project win to: DaryRees@Gmail.com and mention the words “Collaboration opportunity” in the subject of the email.
