A/V Tech for Sunday morning worship services

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Santa Cruz County (UUFSCC) is seeking a qualified Audio Visual tech for the Sunday morning in-house and digital worship service.

Duties include a commitment to:
• Provide technical support for Sunday morning services on-site:
• Pre-service sound and visual checks with speakers, choir, musicians and off-site Zoom tech
• Live audio mix of service
• Setting up and taking down and securing sound equipment and other equipment after each Sunday morning service
• Work in coordination with Minister or Service Leader, Worship Team volunteers and Zoom Tech

• A cool head and good problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate and work well with multiple volunteers and staff

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift objects up to 30lbs
• Ability to carry equipment over short distances or load a moving cart to do so

Skills:
• Essential;
Understanding of operational aspects of using mixers/consoles to control audio in a live environment
Knowledge of criteria for microphone choice and placement
• Desirable:
Network fundamentals
Windows 11 OS
Zoom video conferencing software

Google Drive/Google Slides
QSC Touchmix 16 mixing console
• Specific equipment used:
QSC Touchmix 16 mixing console controlled remotely via a Lenovo tablet

Laptops and tablet for Zoom and Sound
