Are you an experienced mechanic or inspector? Look no further! Yoshi Mobility is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Inspector to join our team. We are a leading third-party provider of inspection services. As a Mobile Vehicle Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with rideshare/carshare/commercial vehicle regulations by driving to customers to conduct on-site inspections and thorough multi-point safety inspections.

Requirements:

Candidates must live in or near:
- Walnut Creek
- Concord
- Pleasant Hill
- Martinez

- Candidate must have reliable transportation to use for business purposes
- Previous shop experience with hands-on vehicle repair and diagnostics
- Prior experience as a DOT inspector (preferred)
- ASE or similar certifications (preferred)
- Knowledge of vehicle regulations and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Proficient with virtual inspection tools and technology

Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with TNC regulations
- Review documentation and records to verify adherence to safety protocols and compliance requirements
- Leverage mechanical experience and shop background to accurately assess vehicle conditions and identify potential safety concerns during virtual inspections
- Identify any potential violations or non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide guidance and support on compliance matters
- Follow Yoshi Standard Operating Procedures

Benefits:
