Job Description
We’re a premium residential remodeling company serving Boulder + 15 miles, looking for a reliable interior paint subcontractor for very small projects — the kind of work most painters don’t want to bother with, but that we need done cleanly and professionally.
This is ideal for a solo painter or small crew who wants consistent small-job work and values doing things the right way.
MOST PROJECTS ARE:
One room repaints (walls/ceilings)
Trim, doors, cabinets (light-duty, not full cabinet shop finishes)
Patch + paint / drywall repair paint-outs
Touch-ups after remodel work
Small punch lists for homeowners
Occasionally stair rails, accent walls, etc.
These jobs are often in occupied homes, so the painter needs to be calm, respectful, and clean.
Cleanliness is NON-NEGOTIABLE
We’re serious about this: a painter can make a house feel taken care of, or totally disrespected. We only work with subs who treat cleanliness as part of the craft.
WHAT WE EXPECT:
Full protection of floors and surfaces (drop cloths, plastic, paper, tape)
Clean masking and cut lines
No drips, splatter, or sloppy rolling
Brushes/rollers managed properly (no mess left behind)
Daily cleanup and end-of-day reset
Trash removed and materials stored neatly
A painter who leaves the home looking better than when they arrived
If you tend to leave tape scraps, paint flecks, open cans, or dusty footprints behind, this is not a fit.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
High-quality interior painting with sharp detail work
Ability to price and complete small jobs efficiently
Reliable scheduling and follow-through
Clear communication (text/call updates, show up when you say you will)
Professional behavior in client homes (quiet, clean language, respectful)
WHAT WE OFFER:
Consistent small-job work for the right painter
Clear scopes and organized scheduling
Fair pay and prompt payment
Long-term relationship opportunity
A professional team environment (no chaos, no drama)
REQUIREMENTS:
Reliable transportation + tools
Experience with interior repaints and trim/door work
Insurance is preferred (or willing to obtain)
References or photos of prior work
TO APPLY:
Reply with:
Your name + business name
Areas you work (Boulder, Louisville, etc.)
Crew size
Photos of your work (or website/Instagram)
Confirmation you carry insurance (or are willing to)
Your typical lead time / availability next 2–4 weeks
Include the word “MASKING” in your reply so we know you read the full ad.
